Ostara

This romantically elegant 2.1m piece is light, silky and drapey. This is a thinner, summery piece with it's warp of thin Mulberry Silk and weft of airy Mulberry/Bamboo. I chose to keep a simple, lacy feeling natural colored weft on this to really showcase the embroidery work on its tails. I’ve sampled a lot of new techniques for upcoming projects in it’s design and I’m incredibly happy with how it all came together! 
This piece has hemstitched, long, loose fringe to accentuate its elegance.
