Wheat Kings

This Beautiful piece is the first of a series of Fine Art textile wall hangings I will now be offering in the shop! Entitled “Wheat Kings”, this piece is a mixed fibre, woven piece adorned with loads of Mulberry Silk embroidery and Swarovski crystals and pearls. The Swarovski crystals are absolutely dazzling in artificial light!
I originally created its sister piece, the luxurious Shawl entitled the same….and it immediately gave me intense inspiration to create this as well. I begin each piece with a loose concept of what I hope to achieve and just let the inspiration take me where it does! I’m extremely excited to be offering these more artistic pieces, moving forward. It has been so soothing for my creative side. 
This piece measures 28” wide in tapestry and 40” wide in total, including wood hanger and is 30” tall in tapestry and 49” from hang point. 
It is hung on an amazingly unique piece of driftwood that has been sealed with whitewash and accented in metallic gold paint. It’s hung by a braided mix of Silks, including beautiful filaments of sparkle.
